The family of soft cheeses are some the easiest and most often made of all home dairy. Ready to eat quickly and using small quantities of milk they make a perfect place to start your home cheese making journey.

The Culture Cupboard® five-pack of Soft Cheese culture contains 5 sachets, each makes 4 litres (4 quarts) of milk into a wide range of soft cheeses. We use this culture for everything from Feta to Cream Cheese and Cultured Butter.

To drain your soft cheeses, we recommend the “Set of 5 Soft Cheese Baskets” together with recipes and methods from our book “How to Make Soft Cheese.”

Soft cheese culture

I use this culture primarily to make quark, this culture is easy to use from beginner to artisan. I have been using these cultures for about 6 years, so as you can see i am a happy customer.

Great so far

I love the instruction booklet, easy to follow. I have only made cottage cheese so far, but it is just yum! Great fast delivery as usual, even to rural folk like us.

High quality; predictable result

While this Soft cheese culture is more expensive than an Australian one, unlike an Aussie this one is conveniently packed (each sachet for 4 litres of milk) and it makes a very tasty soft cheese.
