Unit price per

Making yogurt at home is a healthy decision and cost-effective. You control the ingredients and remove large plastic yogurt pots from your weekly waste. Eat well, save money and the planet!

Our Twin Pack is even more economical to buy. It has a long shelf life and makes 20 litres of Yogurt.

• 2 x 10 sachets of starter culture - each makes 1 litre of live yogurt
• 4 strains of live yogurt bacteria including probiotics

It makes a tangy flavored plain natural yogurt. One tablespoon of this yogurt contains over 20 billion live probiotics, about the same as 7 probiotic capsules.*

Culture Cupboard starters are made in NZ in small batches for maximum live culture counts. Customers rave about the difference in results using fresh cultures.
*Based on accredited laboratory testing and comparison with standard 3 billion count capsules.

Tastes great

I think you need to have a trial and error first attempt and then I feel I can get it right now. What I would have liked to know before I started was that if you are using the easiyo flask as you say that is ok to use (and I had to because you were out of stock of the stainless steel one) you don’t put boiling water in the flask because it kills the starter culture. You put hot tap water for four hours and then refill it again with hot tap water. This is important ! It took ages to find this info.

The perfect starter

I have been using this along with 1 thick and creamy sachet to make gorgeous homemade yoghurt, I make 4L at one time and always works perfectly.

Good yoghurt. No a lot of flavour but nice. Easy to make. Would buy again.
Have tried making it with previously made yoghurt and it worked too.

Excellent yogurt starter!

Perfect every time so far... I did reculture from my first batch a few times since I was eating it so fast with good results but then started with a fresh culture after getting back from a long weekend away. Just started a sour cream batch which is very exciting!
